Bringing My Character to Life: Kwan the Avatar (Original ATLA Character)

I also created an Avatar character, which if anyone didn't know, is the one who can control all the elements. This one is an earthbending Avatar, proper with the timeline I suppose. An older female (around middle age) named Kwan, whose name has a meaning of "strong". Her original design used to be a young girl named Tani (whose name is sort of based on Malay, which means "farm").
I've always imagined a more antagonistic Avatar type of character, because it would be interesting. It doesn't mean the Avatar is inherently evil, it just means it goes against the current of everyone else's principles.

Backstory:
Kwan is from the Earth Kingdom and has been the Avatar on duty for over thirty years after her training, travelling around the world and working with the governments to help their people. But several incidents has left her feeling distrustful of the leaders, so she decided to go against their authorities and rebel on her own, prompting the governments to recruit skilled fighters to stop her from unleashing any threat.
