Bringing My Character to Life: Hisamu the Earthbender (Original ATLA Character)

This is a new addition. Because I wanted to create the conflict of singular benders uniting to face the Avatar, I decided to add an ordinary Earthbender character as well.
His name is Hisamu, or as his ranking in the army entitled, General Hisamu, whose Japanese-inspired name has the meaning of "war", "bravery" and "courage".

Backstory:
Hisamu grew up poor but lived a good life with his family. After finishing school, he enlisted in the Earth Kingdom military, where he met with Kwan and formed a friendship with her. Gradually over the years, he was promoted to the rank of general and led the main troops in the capital. When the Avatar declared going rogue against all the nations, Hisamu was forced to go against his attachment with Kwan and fulfil his duty as the protector of the nation.
